PNG files

OK, I'm looking for a way to make a program I'm making be able to convert png files to bmp files.

I don't care if i need an ocx, or a dll or whatever, just so long as it is free (my program is), and i can install and use it transparently (ie the user doesn't need to do anything directly with it).

I figured that I'd save myself hours of possibly fruitless searching for such a method, and just ask all you fabuluously knowledgeable and connected people here where I could find this.

I've already searched the old posts at these forums for an answer, and all the answers I found had dead links on them .

So, I hope someone here can make my day and point me in the right direction .
