FeedBag!
Heh, meant to say Feedback. Sorry.
Just wonderring what anyones trained there bodies to do thru determination and/or feedback. When I was 15,
after having been a persistent hiccuper, 3 to 8 times a month, 20 to 40 minutes at a time, I trained myself {Theory, KEEP YOUR ESOPHAGUS OPEN AT ALL COSTS!!!} to stop hiccuping after 3 or 4 of em.
Another time, I was well on my way to become well trained in
Lucid Dreaming, but the method was too obsessive/compulsive.
Had to stop.
That was years ago, haven't done anything similar for a while.
Lately, for about a year, I've been leaving my radio on as I go to
sleep. Recently, in the morning, I've been noticing I've been
aware that I don't hear the radio, as I'm waking up, and then
WAM!!! there it is. Its not just the radio, its My entire auditory
sense. Its shut down, Until I'm "awake". Soooooo, I've been, as I
awaken, tried to "feel" my hearing, see about being able to shut
down my hearing on demand. I've been able to do it, a couple of
times, so I'm on my way. Why? Heh, Just to say I can.
{ps... I'm well aware of the "Auditory Paralysis" a sleeper
experiances, And its obvious thats what I'm trying to Consciously
control. Might be Possible, who knows?}
So, Just wondering what unusual things Y'all will admit to being able to do!

Pope Pius XII in 1958, died of hiccups !!!

I never thought this could be serious enough...all I did was to take air(oxygen) in gulps and drank some water at the same time.
They usually don't last for more than 10 minutes or so..
