Using MAPI/Exchange without logged on user?
Hello all,
Does anyone have any idea how I could utilise the MAPI (or other) controls to read mail from an exchange server for a specific exchange account, but WITHOUT a user being logged in - which means there is no MAPI profile.
It appears that MAPISeesion.Username is a misnomer - it actually requires a profile name... and as these are stored in the user registry hive, there is no access to a profile at such time...
Please help! This is a thorny one... :-s
(what I'm trying to do is convert a current application which requires you to log on first, then run it, into a process that will be called from a scheduling service on a server with no user logged on)
Kind regards,
Ben
