vbforums.com slow ?

Is that my connection or vbforums.com is slow since yesterday ?

OMG it is so slow today, even on the current dual T1s I'm on.

Because sometimes i post a question that others are unable to answer and the thread ends up sitting there for months. I guess i get tired of looking at it. :p

It still has to send them to other people when you post.

Sendmail is simply a bloatware. Why not use Postfix (http://www.postfix.org/) ? It is compatible with sendmail and better than sendmail.

We have just upgraded to the latest version of vB, so hopefully things should be a bit smoother, particularly with editing/deleting posts.

So, was this due to the upgradding process? Or, did everything die just because it went bad? {which doesn't make sense to me, but, hey! I guess!}

I think they upgraded to minimize the sluggishness.

The Post Race certainly isn't as slow as it was - maybe they fixed a few things with excessively long threads (perhaps it tried to collect the entire thread first before doing anything?)

I've got no problems posting something, but the complete website is a lot slower than a week ago.
