Update problem.

hello, ok i'm trying to using a flexgrid to show data from a database, but i can't find anyway to save the changes that i have make to the grid back to the database. So i have come upwith an idea, this may sound a little silly but anyway here goes. When i open the flexgrid i also open another MSDBGrid that is connnected and bound to the same data control, then when i updata the flexgrid (with an update sub that i have written) i also update the dbgrid which will in turn updates the database, as i require, the one problem i have is that i can't get the msdbgrid to load the data from the data control. Is what i am doing here possible? or is there some other very simple way of doing this?
