How to link the data report

i'm doing a project that the database is in the other computer. I'm using maping network drive to retrieve the data. But for the report i have problem to link the database because my database location is not fixed. In my main menu form i have main menu that are using common dialog box to open the database. So how to connect the database to the report using any method that you know.
