    Locking threads in Chit Chat

    Why, oh why, can we still not do that? That Gestapo John or whatever it was thing was about a year ago.

    he was the user created by cybersurfer, parksie, a few others who locked threads in CC

    What I want to know is how Gestapo John managed to lock other people's threads.

    he couldn't.....if you look closely, all the threads that were locked were made by those people. Look who created the post race...cybersurfer.

    It was just a clever trick.

    We all logged in as GJ a few times, but in that thread I think it was CyberSurfer being him - and I locked it.

    It was a bit tricky getting the post race locked because Jon's connection gave out right at the critical moment

    yeah we had our timing off once.... we said it was closed and someone posted after us

    we only closed our own posts making it look like he could close anyones....it was quite a magnificent pulloff

    edit: I think I posted the last post...but jons connection was too slow so you posted after me (to explain why someone got in a last post after us) and dennis closed the thread....very slick, misison impossible style
