    Error 3447
    MDSN says:
The Jet VBA file (VBAJET.dll for 16-bit versions, or VBAJET32.dll for 32-bit versions) failed to initialize when called. Try reinstalling the application that returned the error. (Error 3447)
I know that vbajet32.dll is dependant on Dao350.dll

however these two are a matching pair
    (by which I mean one isn't a VB6 file)
Applications like Visual Basic 6.0 and Visual C++ 6.0 install new versions of the DAO and Jet files on your development computer. Any version of VBAJet32.dll 6.0.1.8132 or later is now dependent on the file Expsrv.dll. The error occurs with your original setup program because it does not include Expsrv.dll in the dependency information.

    vbajet32.dll version: 5.0.7122

    Dao350.dll version: 3.51.1608.0

    Dao350.dll registers ok
    vbajet32.dll isn't a registerable dll

    3447 still occurs

    WHY for crying out load!!!!

    Well.... did you ?.

You ask me to tell more... uuhhhhh... hmmm.. dont know
much to tell. Just when i using the PDW for compiling
a setup application. And my project is using DAO connection.
He will #include all the dao files. EXPSRV.DLL, VBAJET32.DLL, ext. But he wont use VBAJET16.DLL. Maybe you
can try to register the dll with regsvr32.exe executeble.
I dont know if it will work that way. . But one thing i know. DAO351 wont work with Access 2000 files. . So you have to install DAO360. you can download it somewhere on the msdn web site.

    Angry

Frans C I've read all that shite and it's a load of Bollocks (you've probably guessed I'm totally peed off with if now)

arazcon Yeah I'm sure the users would be well chuffed if I told them they'll have to buy Access in order you use the software and, by the way, if it's Access 2000 that won't work either..

It's bad enougth trying to explain that Windows Messaging has to be installed (for the MAPI control) when it's not even on the piggin Windows setup tab with Win98

and also if Outlook 5 is installed that screws up everything by copying ****** version 1 components over version 4 DLLs

    and another thing,
the MAPI control needs the extended MAPI facility from Version 5 (for sending attached files) and the windows messaging software(version 4) isn't even up to the job.

Yes the Microsoft w*nkers denied that it was a problem and expect us to pay for Exchange 5 licences
