Picture Property

Would anybody can help my wonder?
I am wondering whether the .bmp file is merged together with my .exe file if I specify the picture property in the control, say, the picture control and the command button. Or vb will try to locate the .bmp file during runtime according to the previous specified path information.

If you use a picture in your project. VB will compile it in your executeble. But i always think if your using pictures, the best way would be to place your pictures in a ImageList control. So you can place your pictures at your load event of the form. But watch out. The more pictures your placing in your projects. The bigger your executeble will be.

Using a Imagelistcontrol, you can also make it load the images from a file ie a gif, to save your app from getting enormous.
