Custom Hardware Components???

Where can I learn about creating custom hardware components (like from electronic parts)?

Go to CCNY Electrical Engineering department (College of Engineering). I think Muhammed Karim is still Dean of the College. This is what they do for the most part -
design specialty periperhal devices.

Chances are good that somebody has already prototyped whatever you have in mind. Otherwise, you get to learn all about it.

Have they begun to allow colleges & universities into Brooklyn, yet? My father grew up there and claimed that all schooling ended with grade 8.

lol. see, im not trying to market s/t, and what i want costs alot (console for flight simulator). I was wondering, though, how hard it is to make it myself. I was hoping for a website/tutorial that would help me.
