Question NT or Windows 2000 ?

    Hi,

I'm about to embark on a new project. After configuring a new hard drive with Windows ME, the Beta2 release says it won't run on ME.

Should I load Windows 2000, or NT?

    Pros - Cons

    Thanks,

    Ken

    Windows 2000

.Net will run under NT, but not all functionality will be included.

    I second Windows 2000. It's NT 5 anyway.

    Get these: Mozilla Opera OpenBSD
I have books for sale: "MCSD in a Nutshell" and "VB Distributed Exam Cram" - PM me for details. Will also trade for a decent ATX Pentium 2 MB/CPU/RAM combo.

    Thanks guys,

    I didn't realize Windows 2000 was NT5.

    Next question:

Does Windows 2000 have the same hardware compatibility issues as NT4?

In the hardware department windows 2000 is much easier to work with. Plus it comes with IIS 5 so you can run a web server to test all the webforms, asp.net, etc...
