CDONTS object "Donts Work"

Our NT4 machine with Exhange killed over so we rebuilt it. After re-installing exchange, the CDONTS.NEWMAIL was re-registered as CDONTS.NEWMAIL.1

No matter how i try, i cannot send an email from my asp page using the new register or the old register of the CDONTS object...but it does not error.

I was able to send email from it before we rebuilt.

any ideas?

There are two versions i think. I have a link at home from Microsoft that explains it. But basically, they removed the .NewMail from the new version.

I know, .... it's enough to make you scream.
