    Angry Download Problem

    i want to Build a site with a download section.
    i want downloading should be with out prompt or permission from user or client .


    e.g
    when we usually download any link IE asks us Do you want to save it or run it from its current location . i want to skip this screen .

    plz help me

    No, you need that for security reasons, otherwise malicious web sites could install virii, etc...

    This *might* help you - This article shows you how you can use the ado stream object to download and run a file on a clients pc with out his/her pushing any buttons (mostly the cancel one :P)

    Also unles their security settings are set to low it will prompt them that the page containts activex bla bla bla
