I used mIRC to join the channel specified by you. I was surprised to see that I was the only user present on that channel. Since I am using IRC chat system for the first time could someone tell me whether I am getting a wrong result or should I change the channel

When I tried the Chat, the first couple of times I could connect, I was the only one, and then I couldn't connect.

Maybe it's the time of the day where all VB Forum members are actually doing something productive. ;)

Nobody's in there. It was pretty busy when it was first started several weeks ago but it is deserted every time I go in there. The last time I saw somebody (Serge) in there was about a week ago.

What's weird: People wanted a chat.
What's happened: Now that we have an official chat, people don't use it.

Serge and I are usually on the chat whenever we are logged in. I've noticed though, that the amount of people chatting was significently lower than I had predicted..

As the old saying goes, the chase is better than the catch :)

The whole time-difference thing has to be taken into account aswell though
