Starting Out..

Hey. New to the forum, but seems like a good place. I've used VB3 a lot in the past, and now want to get into it again. I would like comments on whether to go for VB5 or VB6.. Eventually I would like to have it setup where users can go to my page, enter thier info to become registered, then come back with their names and passwords and check/change their info and stats, etc..I know this can be done with cgi, but I saw a lot of database type faqs on here. Would the same be possible using VB?? Like I said I've only ever used vb3 so I'm not real clear on interfacing the net with vb. Either way I'd like to get back into it and start doing some programs again.

U could use asp for that, or an iis application.

Those kinda programs are easy(good) to make in vb6 with all the web stuff etc.
