    Will vb6 work with Y2K? Heck! WILL WINDOWS95 WORK WITH Y2K? Sorry, I have not been reading updates lately.

    I think both are good until Jan 1, 2069, or some crazy number like that. Make sure you go to regional settings in the control panel and change the short and long date settings so they are like MM/dd/yyyy and dddd/MMMM dd/yyyy respectively. Other than that, you should be good.

    According to Microsaft err... I mean Microsoft , Visual Basic 6.0 operational range for data is 1930 thru 2029 using short date shortcuts.

    But by then windows and VB6 will be obsolete anyway. So it doesn't really matter.
