    Do you want to be able to control your sound - forward, pause etc - or simply play the sound on an event?

    just the basics - play a sound on a certain event...
    but to be able to control, well, that's a bonus!!!!

    Wav Files

    Why not imbed Media Player into a form and use it through OLE to play a wav file?
