Hi,
I installed the Beta 2 VS .Net on a Windows XP Professional PC. This PC was running 98 SE earlier and I had installed the .Net Framework on it when it was running 98 SE. But before the upgrade, I uninstalled the .Net Framework, upgraded the OS to XP Professional and installed the Visual Studio .Net Beta 2.
Now whenever I try creating a new Windows Application and open a form in design mode, I get an error message which says "Assembly or File EnvDTE, or one of its components, was not found". I am able to view the code generated, add my own code and build and run the application. But I am not able to open the form in design mode. I tried uninstalling, cleaning up the registry using McAfee uninstaller (free version) and reinstalling VS .Net Beta 2 again - No luck, I get the same error.
I am posting this problem again in this forum, as I havent got any reply from any forum for this question. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS PROBLEM!!!
