I'd say it was a screenshot taken just a few minutes back. Why do you ask?

I must say you have a sharp eye for details, Duncan.
In case you didn't get it, I am refering to the I am Stefan Raab posts. I think that's the same thing for which Goodreams and chrisjk were banned, although temporarily. And I don't see any reason to deal with this any differently.

I didn't know Chris was ever banned. He deserves it, coming from Worthing. They shouldn't be allowed contact with the outside world at all.

True, coming from the South is terrible, but he has a combine harvester, so we can forgive him :)

If you'll notice the threads are by many different people, just like Ask Gaffer Day, and nobody threw a fit that day.

Yes I was banned Mr. Invisible, only for a day though
HB: Can you trim that screenshot because my thread at the top has nothing to do with any of the others, thank you.

Personally, nope. As a member, Yes. I could take a view that "What the heck! Why should I bother with all that?" And mind you, the same view could have been taken by thousands of people after Sept 11. OK, this analogy is a little far-fetched, but I think you get the point.
filburt1, when the Ask Gaffer threads were posted, I believe there was some occasion for it. In this case the entire thing is stupid, to say the least.
kovan if I usually get my way after complaining (I doubt it, but if you think that way ;) ) it must be because I am complaining for something that needs to be fixed. I am sure John doesn't like me more than he likes the rest of you (OK, not all of you, but many ;) ).
chrisjk, I included a post at the top and a post at the bottom of the I am Stefan Raab posts just for the purpose of showing that I did not make up anything. Nothing about you, really.
And I don't say anybody should be banned, but something must be done to stop such nonsenses.

It looks to me like you are asking for them to be banned.
HB, it's harmless fun. This is chit-chat, not one of the serious forums. You had regained your sense of humoiur for quite a while, but you seem to have lost it again. When things bug you, complain to the users, don't go crying to the moderators everytime you disagree with something.

there was no point in it what so ever, and you even joined in by asking a comlpletly stupid question you hipercript.

HB: does it really matter? is it hurting anyone? and this isn't what gooddreams was banned for...he was banned more for the repetition of the content of those posts. So stop your whining and get your priorities straight

Wow! So even forum feedback posts amount to Reporting to Moderators? Great, I didn't know that. I thought this was a place where I could let others know what I thought right and what I thought not right about things in the forums. If I wanted members to be banned or wanted to complain to the mods, I pretty well know the link that does it. I wouldn't use Forum Feedback. As I said earlier, this is FEEDBACK, and not a request to ban people.
Then why was chrisjk banned, although not for long?
What if all members start acting funny by posting I am Stefan Raab and I am not Stefan Raab posts? What state would the Chit Chat forum be in if you only had these two types of posts?
Guys, I think there is a difference between fun and nuisance.

HoneyBee,
Please, for the love of God (or whatever generic deity you believe in), just SHUT UP!
I posted, only a couple of days ago about how impressed I was with your new found sense of humour and how you've finally pulled your head out of your arse and the you go and complain about something as insignificant as this.
To re-iterate a much vocalised opinion:
"If you don't Chit-Chat or the contents of a particular thread then DON'T READ IT!"
If you heard a group of people in the foyer of your workplace arguing about who was Stefan Raab would you promptly holler security to have them thrown out?
No. I think not. Well, don't presume to here.
Enough said.

Nope, I wouldn't ask the security to throw them out. But I would ask these people to stop discussing nonsense topics like that. And that's what I am doing by posting in Feedback. I have not reported the posts or the thread to any mods as yet, nor do I plan to.
I hope that makes it clear that it's a FEEDBACK and not a complaint.

Have you visited Chit Chat? Non-nonsense doesn't tend to happen there a lot.

It sounds very much like a complaint to me.
And are you seriously telling me that you'd wander over to a bunch of people and ask them to stop talking rubbish. Tell you what pal, you'd be a fool if you tried that in Manchester.
Bollocks you'd tell a bunch of people you hardly know to stop talking about their chosen topic, just because you think it's nonsense. Get real HB.
And you're not actually asking them to stop talking are you. You're posting in Feedback. What's wrong with a reply in the thread or a pm. What you're doing amounts to putting a notice on the company notice board asking the people in the foyer to stop talking rubbish.
Please, please, just think about what you're saying HB...
