    MSDE & Access 2k

    Could someone walk me through installing MSDE? None of the tutorials I've found have been much use, including some suggested by members here.

    I keep getting a connection error when trying to convert my access 2k database using the upsizing tools. It is Error 161.

    I believe that it has something to do with needing to configure an admin password.

    I've included a screenshot of the error.... Am I not set up right? Any ideas?

    SA Password

    I tried to install the service pack for it (Sp2). It's prompting me for the system admin password.

    I'm on a W98 home desktop....How exactly do I properly specify an admin password for SQL to recognize? This is probably what is causing my problems in converting as well since it's asking for a user name and password of an account that has CREATE DBASE permission.

    How do I set that?
