pages taking ages to load

is anyone else experiencing this on VBF? i click a link to a forum or thread or whatever, and the progress bat in IE 6 either moves really slowly or shoots to 75% then freezes for about 30 secs. then several minutes later it displays pages pretty quickly. i don't think it's my browser, cos every other site is working normally...

I find that if you click the http://www.vbforums.com/images/firstnew.gif or http://www.vbforums.com/images/lastpost.gif on a thread, then it takes much longer to load than normal.

Also the Last page link is slow. For example on Post Race it's quicker to click Post Race! followed by Last ».

Maybe worth posting something on vBullitin.

well, i never really click those two icons, and it seems to just happen randomly, rather than clicking on specific links.

also, i'm not sure it is a prob with vB, cos i just tried visiting some other vB sites, and they seem to be fine. unless it's a prob with vB 2.2 (which is the new version right?), cos those other sites weren't using that version. maybe i will post something there. :)
