Using EMM386 to map 0A000h or GFX memory
Hey! ASM pro out there! Please solve this problem 4 me, OK?
I am using memory more than 1MB but I choose not to enter
Protected mode thus I used EMM386. Yeah, it gives me plenty of
fresh mems, but now I am doing kinda SVGA GFX programs, and
I hate switching bank, for my cutie P120Mhz PC, I got 47 FPS for
800x600x16bit, only if I enter protected mode and use that
linear frame buffer, but then I am in real mode and I gotta use
bank switching, and it dropped down to 14 FPS.
I DON'T 1 2 ENTER PROTECTED MODE AND YET I 1 2 USE EMM386
2 MAP 0A000h, THAT IS VIDEO MEMORY. HOW?
PLEASE, I AM VERY DESPERATED!
