yes, you can do it. I tried looking for a tutorial, but couldn't find one. What i would do is go to radioshack and ask them. they will tell you what you need and how to do it.

In some situations you need the official TI cable anyway.

Here are some links to tutorials: http://www.ticalc.org/hardware/cables/ . There are probably some on http://www.calc.org/ as well.

I got a program that played the X-Files tune if you held the calc next to an AM radio. :D

Sail3005:
Thanx, I'll have to make a trip to RadioShack soon... Oh, and I did check back :)
Chimpyboy:
Hate is a strong word... be careful how you use it :p
I only posted here and one other place (which I will check in a minute)
And... I posted here because I figured a couple of you ASM programmers would have messed around with TI Calcs before and my chances were good of getting a response... Which I did :D
By the way, a TI-Graph Link is a linking cable that connects a calculator to your pc so you can use assembly programs (apps) on your calculator... It's kinda necesary to test any asm programs on the actual calculator... before you destribute :p
filburt:
That's pretty cool... When I get a TI-Graph Link, I'll have to check it out...
Thanx every1,

I got a TI-83+. That thing rocks(...but uses alot of juice). I imagine that you could just attach the RX line of the PC's serial port to one of the Calc port's terminals, and the TX line to the other port terminal... try maybe this:
TX
\
(O)---RX
Or switch them... or look at the tutorials...

For the TI-89 / TI-92+, you can also download programs written in TI-BASIC.
