a new bitblt is attached not sure it looks fluent enough or good enough for walkign i could try some different frames.?

You'll see the guy with the black outline, when he is walking... 6 frames seems to be enough in this case, but your guy is a big bigger so I reccomend 9 - 12.

Sastraxi is right, maybe we should have more image. Maybe 5 will be ok I do not want to many.
Sastraxi can you give us some hint about how to make out background ? I think it should be with title but I am not sure. Anyway, I have to go continue to study I will post a new version of the game in about 3-4 hours.

I cannot figure how to make fall the heros when he just walk out of a block !!!:mad: I will retry but now I had tryed for more than 1 hours without success so I am a little bored.

I think i have it close to the best it can be with the frames i have to work with. I have 7 frames total but it looks better than before i think or hope.;) Posted Below.

I just see the new bitblt :) Very nice. Tonight I will post all the work I have done, if you can add it to the game it will be very nice ;) Well lets try if you cannot I will try :)

Okay i will try to add the bitblt walking to the game and then make a bitblt for jumping. Well see how easy it is to implement with the existing code you have done. :)

ok I go to the gym.
Here is a hint :D you need a rotation maybe a loop who will loop until the speedx <> 0. Well I can do it if you really do not see how to make it. I will upload the code when I will be back of the gym. You will see then it's better but not perfect.
ThingS to improve :
When you move to the left ( 2 sec ) and than you go right the speed will be over the limit (5).
WHen you fall you fall always to the ¦¤¢£@2 floor :) well it do not see like the jump other block and I didn't find why yet.
The distance between block have to be to a minimum of 2*varheros.width

Dude the code you gace me do not work. It only change the animation but do not but transparence at the back.

The (1) is the prove than if we put something "black" for exemple the white at the back of the running guys still white :(
The (2) is a thing I did than each type I pressed ENTER key the picture move and I didnt see anything wrong. SO I do not understand why it do not work in the project. Anyway I think you should try to find how to make it transparent and I will try to make it work in the project.

you didn't add the parts of the vb files that holds the picture info so the bitblt3 zip doesn't run properly.
I can do transparencies but when i did that first walk tutorial i didn't add it. So i will add it tonight then okay :)

It takes the color of the total frames box so if you change that blue to a different color it will go over.

Here is the screen shoot of a problem all the ZONE who have X red i where it the problem. All work until you go downstair of the block ( who is the top hight ). When we jump under the block that do not work and I do not know why :(

Hehe, DaoK, your sig is just soooo funny and its everywhere!! lol. I didnt understand this forum but it looks like everyone these days is off working hard on their new project :) So good to see this! Anyways, Ill be hanging around, hope you dont mind... I cant believe i still couldnt figgure out a simple problem i had with conversions like 4-5 months ago. Anyways, some of the problems you are facing can be solved like this:
1. make a "class" or "udt" for each object
2. make an array of those objects
3. loop through the array to do collisions etc...
but remember you dont want to do dumb looping, instead
do a smart loop like have each object check if there is something
to the left of it, and to the top of it. That way, you automatically
know whether things are colliding based on the objects.
Remember the best part of game programming: test, test, test, test, test and test untill you have whooped the whole game into shape!!
