cross posters
Other than telling people not to cross-post the same question to 10 different forums is there any practical solution?
We have one poster who hits about 5-10 forums with each question. He/she keeps doing it.

Here is some evidence just found.
I guess we can launch a new user education programme and simultaneously start bugging the mods to delete the extra threads in the irrelevant forums.
The problem is if a user posted the same thread in both the General section and the Database section, and if I replied to the General one and say Jim replied to the Database one, and if one of the threads was deleted, one of us will lose a post and also some advice / solution.
So that leaves us with only one sensible option: Educate the members.
Put all these things in your sigs so you are sure the new members get them.
