The manager is definately getting the credit, he's competely turned them around. Hasn't lost any match in charge. Only blip was last night - but hey that's 1 in like 10 games or something

yeah it sho is coz this england team has a chance of winnin the world cup (well gettin 2 the semis at least)

    my predictions:
    argentina (winners)
    italy (runners-up)
    england (third)
    france (fourth)

well the winner/runner up is a coin toss really, could go either way

    trip *bump

    You're a Manu-re fan, aren't you Ghost? I mean, Andy Cole??????
I've seen more skill at the Female Ball Throwing Championship.

I'd rather see Chris Sutton play instead of him. Dammit, I'd rather see
Phil Tufnell play there instead of him.

You are, of course, perfectly correct about Beckham's preformance on Saturday - world class.

I think the important thing to note about the performance on Saturday is this: Look at all the great teams in history, like the Germans, the Brazilians, the Italians, the Dutch. When they played well, they looked unbeatable (like we did against Germany). when they played poorly, they still managed to get the points (like we did against Greece).

I'm not saying we're like the Dutch in the 70s, Italians in the 80s, Germans in the 90s, Brazil all century, but we're looking pretty tasty...

Good news for us on the football front as well - no more Mr Brown.

    Thank feck for that.

(Can we have alex Feguson when Man U are finished with him?)

yeah im a man u fan (can u guess, i put chadwick in the squad, but he is CLASS, but he is ugly)

as for that number 9, i suppose cole is a good sub coz u saw how effective he was on saturday. it shouldnt be heskey, he is a ****ing donkey, he doesnt know what to do (fall down or force people down) it seems when he is the lone striker (like in italy) he is powerful, but when he is owen's butt-monkey (all the other times) he falls over a lot more. i do agree that we need a class number 9, either fowler of kevin philips (philips is the man!!)

sutton is a pile of cack, nuff said

and the left wing- NO MORE NICK BARMBY!! he is SOOOO cack its unbelievable, WE NEED KIERON DYER!! he is ****in class, but if sven dont want him (he should) then he should play carragher or phil neville in left back and ashley cole in left wing, coz goin forward he is AMAZING, but his defendin is SOOO ****

im gonna post a revised england squad

Argentina look very strong for winning the world cup. France aren't the team they were. I don't think Italy are that great - they dive a lot for free kicks and have been lucky with a couple of results, but you never know. If England could get to the finals, that would be great. We deserve to be in the finals.

Have Brazil got to the world cup finals? Last time I heard they were 4th in their group

brazil are fourth, they will now qualify, but wether they get the auto spot of the playoff with australia is unknown, lets hope they get there automatically and uruaguy can beat the aussies

italy are phenomenal, trust me, they will kick ass
spain are another team that underperforms, but hopefully morientes can stay fit for this comp and they will have a competitive side
portugal could kick some ass, figo, rui costa, simao and nuno gomes could seriously cause trouble
    argentina will win, nuff said
france will have trouble climbatizing, and their defence is old and **** (well their central defenders are, thuram and lizerazu are class)
we can do well, but i doubt we could beat argentina or italy, just my opinion

and lets not forget, if ronaldo gets back to good form, brazil can seriously turn it on at the actual event, so lets not write them off, ronaldo, rivaldo, ronaldinho, romario, adriano, denilson, geovanni, giovanni, emerson (the roma one), roberto carlos, amoroso, elber, athirston, cafu, roque junior, aldair, rochemback

but argentina have batistuta, crespo, saviola, kily gonzalez, javier zanetti, riquelme, veron, cavalerro, simeone, redondo, samuel, claudio lopez, almeyda, ayala, aimar

or italy, totti, del piero, vieri, zambrotta, coco, inzaghi, gatusso, albertini, buffon, toldo, materazzi, cannavarro, nesta, maldini, fiore, tomassi, baggio, tacchinardi, montella, delvecchio, chiesa (if he recovers in time), liverani, zauri
