ok, i have visual basic 6.0 edition... when i open up the Standard EXE, i get very limited controls. Visual Basic offers a lot more controls as i've seen in the ENTERPRISE EDITION CONTROLS thing. Now, is there a way to get those controls in my Standard EXE project?? there is a way because i have done it before. please help!! thanks.

I'm not familiar with 6.0 but on 5.0 you just right click on the tool bar and choose components. This will put you in a list of components that you can add to your project. Well, hope that was helpful.

If you have VB6 Learning Edition then you dont have many controls. Try to upgrade to VB6 Proffesional or Enterprise Edition.

u can copy .ocx files as well as the licence files of those controls on yr local system and the tryt o browse and access those files it will register the control selected by u in the system registry and after that it will be available in the vb control list.

VB6 Learning Edition was never meant to have those additional controls. Just copying those controls to your system is the same thing as stealing. With Learning Edition you still cannot distribute those controls.
Just an FYI.
