Game Developer Wanted
I am currently developing an Online RPG.
So far I have been writing the client and server software myself using Visual Basic 6 Enterprise.
I am currently looking for someone to assist me in the development, who has enough time spare to rewrite my client, as it is currently very buggy and chunky!
I would like to find someone who is 16 years or older, has a lot of time spare, and advanced knowledge in Visual Basic, and who also has a copy of Version 6 Enterprise.
It would also be helpful if you have previous knowledge of RPG's, wether it be in the development of one, or simply playing one.
If you would like to offer your services, please reply to this post, or e-mail at [email protected]
I will only be able to accept one person as a developer, so the best candidate, if any, will be selected.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I think you should talk a bit more about your game here.. is it a text-based or graphical game for example?

Ok heres a bit about my game - hope it gets more people interested lol
It's a text-based, partially graphical RPG, inspired by the likes of Realms of Kaos, and Nightmist.
We have had it online permanently for 2 weeks now, and have already built up a userbase of 400 in the short time its been online.
The game has been around for a long time, and this is a total rewrite of the original.
We have a number of friendly sysops, and lots of great players who enjoy the game.
The main aim of the game, as in most RPG's, is to defeat monsters to gain experience, join Tribes/Clans, and to declare wars or alliances with other Tribes/Clans.
As you gain more experience, you gain higher levels, and therefore become more powerful, have more HP (Health), and can go on to take on more powerful "Boss" monsters, who will drop quest items and other useful keys etc., which will allow players to then explore new areas.
We are continually developing new areas to make the game more exciting, and fun events such as Quizzes, Quests, and Moshes (throw everyone in the same area, with no exists, until all but one is dead), for great prizes.
If anyone has any more questions, i will be pleased to answer - i am also contactable via:
E-mail: [email protected]
ICQ: 129348443
MSN: [email protected]
I hope that this will generate a bigger respone, as I need a developer to work on the project with me.
Thanks

Is this a job position, or are you just looking for someone with enough time to help you out?
Either way, I am somewhat interested, but I am not in a position where I can commit myself to a fulltime job.
I have Visual Studio Enterprise & Pro (Different one at home to at work). I am keen to pick up new skills more than anything else, so perhaps you could give me some idea of what you are looking for in terms of commitment/hours/experience etc.
Cheers.
