i need to know how to get the NIC card and video and sound card names, just like device manager via code please, not from registry please.... If someone has a pre made dll that does this PLEASE send it my way.... let me know ASAP

You can use DirectDraw/3D to find the Video Card's name. About the sound card I think you can get that with DirectSound, just look up enumeration.
