As a Muslim myself, it is deeply saddening to see what an ideological struggle can become when distorted by hate.
There could never be any religious excuse for the terrorist act carried out in New York or any other act of terrorism. Muslim scholars without political motivations would confirm that there is nothing halal or divine about murdering innocent people, no matter what the supposed justification.
I understand the hate expressed here and I am chilled by this whole episode but it is this same kind of hate that has driven these blind people to do what they have done.
Osama bin Laden is no Muslim any real Muslim should call a brother because nothing I have ever read in the Quran incites barbarism of this nature.
It must have been hell on Earth being on any of those plane or in or near those buildings. I am stunned and i shudder to think about the scale of retribution from the US.
Rather than revenge, everybody should be thinking about those caught up in the thick of this.
The time for retaliation will be soon enough but that will be in the form of even more suffering and bloodshed.
The world is now a different place and petty comments in here won't change anything. To think that the
US has lost more in one morning than Palestinians have lost in a year of conflict is staggering.
That these attacks have only been targeted at the US has bin Laden all over it otherwise Britian and Israel would have been attacked too.
It will be interesting to see whether people still have the appetite for blood and revenge they are clamouring for in here when the US strikes back.
