    Question Freedom Vs Security

    They were discussing at CNBC how much we need to sacrifice freedom, liberity and privacy for security. Just that points out how US can't act the capitalist way, failing to fullfill their ideal. Isn't that a natural flaw? Is it the ideology or is it the people?

    Ked - are you saying that you have a New Ideology that will appeal to everyone, worldwide without exception - even a fanatic in a cave in the mountains on the other side of the world and will end all dissent forever?

    My general idea on freedom vs. safety (security) is that you should be free to do whatever you please, so long as it does not unreasonably infringe on the freedom of somebody else.
