John,
I think it would be a good idea to stop users with 0 (or another amount for that fact) from using the email...

I just got an email from a user asking for help... and when i tried to use the online form it says that the user did not wish to recive emails... all seams a little fishy to me... and i dont want to let my email out... which could be used in malicious ways...

the user in mention's ID is 22132, maybe he has emailed more than one person?

has anyone else had a email from a 'lmeiying' ?

I second that opinion, although I have not received any such emails yet.

Also I think it would be better if you implemented a policy where if I disable receiving emails from others, I would also not be able to send mail to other members through the forums.

I've set it to disallow emails from others...i got sick of random people going, "hey, I need some help"...if they post in the forum and I see it and I know the answer, i'll respond, sending me Q's by email isn't on in my opinion. I might also disallow PM'ing...

Me too, I prefer PMs instead of e-mail. I really hate it when the board's newbies e-mail or PM me without even bothing to post in the forum.
