The problem with A.I. is that the story was writen by Stanley Kubrick, who directs cold emotionless movies, where the viewers feel like passive spectators; whereas Steven Speilburg makes movies that makes the viewers feel like part of what is hapening.

Dn't think it really sucked that bad, but it is kinda weird. Specially when AI meets that hoe. Robots for pleasure is nasty!

2001 was just kubrick's attempt to stick as many references into a movie as he could. In every seen there were like 10 references to something. It's just alot of deep shiat. Think of it as a M.C. Escher painting (pretty, but doesen't make any since).

That movie started off pretty good, then got weird, then started to make a little sense, then the ending was stupid.
I really thought I misunderstood it, and I wanted to think it was a great movie that I didn't understand.
Nope, it was stupid. I don't buy the critics who say "you didn't get it, it's a masterpiece." Um, no.
Better movies: Memento
Unbreakable
Traffic

I hated unbreakable. it was kind of obvious that samuel jackson was bad. :(

Unbreakable was good...the ending itself was worth it.
