Is there an easy way to open my connection to the internet using VB code? I have a default dial-up connection, but am not sure how to start it.
Also, is there a way to check to see if I am already connected before trying to establish the connection?
I want to make a prog that makes a connection, opens an internet site, and then closes the connection at certain intervals even if Im not there. But I dont want it to disconnect me if I am currently using the connection (i.e. the connection was already made before the program started).
Hope that makes sense!
Thanks,
~seaweed

Sorry, not a solution
Hi Seaweed.
I've been trying to figure out how to do this too:

I don't have a solution for this. I put this post here so that I will get an email when someone does figure it out.
All the best.

Detecting an Internet Connection
Hi Seaweed.
Rapmaster's reply gives a link that shows how to establish a dial-up connection.
For your second question (checking to see if a PC is already connected), check out this thread:

All the best.
