Does anyone know about NWA(Northwest Airlines)? What kind of limit do they have? Like Weight Limits? Also, is it possible to bring my hardwares to the plane? Limits? Will it damage my Hardwares? How to prevent from it happens? Any advice would be greatful!

If you have a laptop, they probably won't care when you use it in-flight. But you aren't allowed to use it just before and during takeoff.

Why not ask them? http://www.nwa.com or call them (even though you're 12, so get your parents to call :p).

I don't have a Laptop. They allow to use Laptops on the plane??? I'm bringing a MotherBoard, CDRW, CDROM,VIDEO CARD, Sound Card, MEM, CPU... Stuff, in a Box(Motherboard Box)

I've honestly never been on a plane, never mind on a plane with hardware, but since a powered-down laptop is fine then I'd assume unassembled equipment would be fine.

but if someone else has a different take on this issue, take their advice over mine.

Security will probably ask you a few questions prior to reaching the gate if you try to bring a tower and monitor in. Do you really need a computer that badly in flight? Plus, you can only get electrical outlets on specialized first class seats, and even then you have to buy a specialized transformer.

I don't know if i understood your question, so here's the second meaning: you'll be able to put your computer in baggage, just pack it between your clothes and it will fit nicely. Don't try to take open electronic components as carry-ons, though.

Yes you can use a laptop in flight, but for some reason you can't use the CD. They say it interferes with the avionics. Also, some airlines say thay yes you may use them, but you have to ask the Captain. I'd've thought s/he'd be a bit busy with other, more important stuff than this, like flying the plane.:p

If I were you' I'd pack the stuff securely in the box, fill it up with those little foam chip things and bubble-wrap, and check it into the hold.

when i was 7 i had this toy gun (it made noises and lots of flashy lights :p)and i was holding it and they said i can only leave it in the baggage, not in my carry on cuz it would make the engine explode or something.

Don't computers have maximum operating altitudes or something? Or does that not apply since the cabin is pressurized?

I'm leaning towards the latter.

Doesn't the hard drive require air inside to make the head float?

And the power supply and cpu need air for cooling. And the operator needs to breathe. And of course you wouldn't hear the sound if the air wasn't there to carry the sound waves.

Here in Johannesburg we're at 6000', 1800m above sea level, and my employer's old Wang system a few years ago needed to have high-altitude heads in the disks. They had some aerodynamic differences, like a tiny aerofoil I suppose, to fly them in the rareified atmosphere.

We also have to use high-altitude tennis balls up here.

And here's a scary thought: our deep goldmines here are about 12000' feet deep, so the miners are as far below sea level as the ground is above it.

I'm planning to fit it into my "ASUS CUSL2-C" Motherboard Box, came with my Motherboard... I'm planning to fit the Harddisk into a Box(came with those Harddisks unboxed). Or any other solutions suggested?
Memory slot will go into an UnElectricity Bag or whatever it's called, with the Motherboard. I'm not bringing the Monitor, case, sound Speakers...

CD ROMS and CDRW is coming with me as well in the Bag.

There is only one thing that you have to worry about ; sudden shocks or vibrations.

All of the equipment will be ok. If you can withstand environmental conditions, then the equipment you're bringing with you can too.

If you're bringing a hard drive, then just make sure it doesnt get banged around too much.

Most airlines have a specific weight limit for carry-on baggage and baggage-store baggage.

The weight is quite a lot.
As long as you can physically walk onto the plane with one or two schoolbags full of kit you'll be all right.

Provided of course you get through the x-ray machines okay.
You might want to mention that to the security people. Mobile phones go through okay though....
But say it to security before you go through the metal detectors.
