Question random question about dial-up networking

Just a quisk question, if anyone is listening:
Me and a friend of mine are trying to get a network going between our two computers using only our modems. How can I set up my computer (a Windows 98 machine) to accept dial-up networking clients without upgrading to Windows NT? Is there any free software I may get my hands on? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What's so random about this question, seems quite specific to me!

If you install Dial-Up Server (Control Panel->Add Remove Programs->Windows Setup) then you should be able to do it. Never worked out how to use it though.
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

Doesn't look like Chit-Chat to me either!

I tried it once. Just install it from the Win disc, run it, select a few options and get it to listen. A little icon will go into the sys tray. Then dial the number, hey presto, negotiation happens and you can treat is as though you had a LAN job.

    never used dial-up server.

    try using internet connection sharing

then you could get on both machines with onemodem and it is like you are on a lan.
