Ok, here comes a dumb question: what is a MSDN Library. I've been reading about it in so many posts and well I have no idea what it is. If you can think about something more dumb, email me

When most of us bought Visual Basic, it came with 2 cd's. One had the program itself. the other was the Microsoft Development Network cd. This contains all the help files and articles on programming in all the visual languages (VJ++, VC++,VB, etc). This is the CD to which we refer the people who have stupid questions. People around here are frustrated when they spend time answering a question already answered on their own computer because some lazy person didn't want to do a little research on their own. If you don't know what it is, chances are you don't have it. You can, however, subscribe to recieve issues of it on CD occasionally, for a modest (heh heh) fee.

    hope this helps,

You can get a MSDN library subscription free at the Microsoft site (assuming you own a copy of Visual Studio) -- and the correct URL for the current library is at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library

I see they don't autoURL the links for us now....
